Crystal Bannoute is a freelance makeup artist, body painter, fine artist, and filmmaker based in New York City. Some of Crystal's inspirations are drawn from art history, Cirque Du Soleil, drag culture and club kids. Raised in a salon since she was 5 years old, she has always been surrounded with a family of international artistry.
Crystal has a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Strategic Design and Management with a minor in Fine Arts from Parsons, The New School for Design. Crystal has studied and practiced her craft while training under world renowned makeup companies and while assisting some of the industry's top makeup artists.
Crystal's work has appeared in Elle, i-D Magazine, Salt Queen Foundation, FashionDailyMag, milk.xyz, iheart-magazine, theclothesmaiden, Vulkan Magazine, The Dallas Observer, Austere Magazine: EDIT, Austere Magazine: REM, Austere Magazine: CMYK, and music videos (such as "RIVIÈRE" by Mehdi Cayenne and "LUCID IN GOLD" by AustereMag.)
Crystal has also worked with some of New York City's top modeling agency models such as Elite Model Management, Trump Models, New York Models, Marilyn Model Management, Re:Quest Models, MSA model management, and RE:Direct.
